Jun Hee Lee served as a cinematographer on the feature documentary The Night of the Factory Girls (2023–2024), a film selected for the Documentary Competition at the 28th Busan International Film Festival and subsequently presented at the 49th Seoul Independent Film Festival, the 14th International Women’s Film Festival Dortmund | Cologne (Germany), and the 16th Seoul International Age Film Festival. The film’s portrait of women, labor, memory, and place helped draw festival attention by foregrounding intimate testimony and the visual textures of industrial life while preserving the dignity of its subjects.
As cinematographer on Withstanding and Existing (2022), Lee contributed to a project that combines music, performance, landscape, and personal testimony into a distinctive cinematic experience. The film received Best Film in the Korean Competition at the 18th Jecheon International Music & Film Festival and was selected as the opening film of the 11th Muju Film Festival.
